Your adventure begins with pickup from Lahore as we embark on a scenic drive toward the beautiful mountain town of Naran. The journey takes you through changing landscapes, from plains to the foothills of the Himalayas. Upon arrival in Naran, check into your comfortable hotel where you'll enjoy a restful night with breakfast included the following morning. This charming mountain resort town serves as the perfect gateway to your Hunza adventure.
After a hearty breakfast, we depart for Hunza Valley via some of the most spectacular mountain roads in the world. The journey takes you through Batakundi, Babusar Top, and Lulusar Lake, offering breathtaking panoramic views at every turn. As we travel along the legendary Karakoram Highway, we'll stop at the famous Rakaposhi View Point for a magnificent view of this 7,788m peak. By evening, we arrive in Hunza where your comfortable accommodation awaits with both breakfast and dinner included.
Today brings the highlight of our journey as we travel to the Pak-China border at Khunjerab Pass, standing at an impressive elevation of 4,693 meters. Along the way, we'll marvel at the cathedral-like Passu Cones, their jagged peaks piercing the sky. The journey continues to the stunning turquoise waters of Attabad Lake, formed after a 2010 landslide, where you can enjoy an optional boat ride. We'll also visit the famous Hussaini Suspension Bridge, known as one of the world's most thrilling crossings, before returning to our Hunza accommodation
Begin your day with a visit to Duiker Top (Eagle's Nest), situated at 10,000 feet elevation, offering spectacular panoramic views of Hunza Valley and surrounding peaks including Rakaposhi, Golden Peak, and Lady Finger. The morning light creates magical photo opportunities of the entire valley below. Later, we explore the vibrant Karimabad Market, where you can shop for local handicrafts, gemstones, and traditional textiles while interacting with friendly locals. The market also offers excellent local cuisine options for you to sample authentic Hunzai dishes.
Today we explore the neighboring Nagar Valley, home to some of the most spectacular glacier views in the region. We'll visit the Rakaposhi View Point for another perspective of this magnificent peak and explore the unique cultural heritage of Nagar, distinct from Hunza. The journey continues to Gilgit, the capital city of Gilgit-Baltistan region, where we'll check into our hotel. Take some time to explore this historic city that has been a crucial junction on ancient trade routes for centuries.
After breakfast, we begin our journey back toward Naran. The route offers continuously changing mountain scenery as we travel along the Karakoram Highway and then turn toward the Kaghan Valley. Upon reaching Naran, we'll visit the jewel of the region – Saiful Muluk Lake. This fairy tale lake, surrounded by snow-capped peaks and alpine meadows, is said to be the place where a prince fell in love with a fairy princess. Enjoy the serene atmosphere before checking into your Naran accommodation for the night.
Our final day begins with breakfast at the hotel before we start our journey back to Lahore. We'll travel via the Toot Tax route, taking in the last views of the beautiful mountain landscapes as they gradually give way to the plains. This day offers time for reflection on the incredible experiences and memories created during your 7 Days Hunza Tour. We'll arrive in Lahore by evening, concluding our unforgettable journey through some of Pakistan's most spectacular regions.
